A bedside staff member requests an appointment via an in-room or personal device. That request is queued within eVisit’s Digital Command Center. When ready, the virtual nurse will launch the visit.
Once accepted, the virtual nurse can chat with a patient, share attachments, documents, images, and control an in-room pan-tilt-zoom camera. The virtual nurse can also add family members, other clinicians, and an interpreter to the visit, or reassign the encounter to another provider. After a visit concludes, the nurse will move on to the next patient in eVisit’s Digital Command Center.
